The right nozzle technology for your way of working

The SATAjet X 5500 is available with two different nozzle technologies: theI-nozzle and the O-nozzle. Depending on the desired working speed, material application and personal painting habits, the appropriate variant can be selected.

I-nozzle – for maximum control
The I-nozzle produces a rather elongated spray jet with a short outlet zone. The jet core is slightly drier, making it particularly suitable for slower and controlled application. With the same nozzle size, the material application per spray coat is slightly less than with the O-nozzle.

O-nozzle – for higher working speeds
The O-nozzle produces a more oval spray jet with a larger outlet zone. The slightly wetter jet core makes it particularly suitable for users who want to work at higher speeds. With the same nozzle size, the layer application per spray coat is slightly higher than with the I-nozzle.
